Vote Now on the National Toy Hall of Fame 2022 Class

Now that the internet has taken over every child's life, old school toys have gone by the wayside. So take this chance to reminisce on your childhood toys by voting for the 2022 finalists for the National Toy Hall of Fame.

Now despite what you might hear on WNBF from Bob Joseph and Kathy Whyte, I am actually old enough to have grown up before the invasion of constant internet connection. I remember the days of riding the bike around the neighborhood to see where everyone was hanging out and the awkward conversations with a friend's parent while you were waiting for them to make their way to the landline to chat. So I remember that a fun weekend night usually involved all the kids in the neighborhood and some of the toys up for the 2022 class of the National Toy Hall of Fame.

This year's finalists include Bingo, Breyer Horses, Settlers of Catan, Lite-Brite, Nerf Toys, Masters of the Universe, Pinata, Phase 10, Pound Puppies, Rack-O, Spirograph, and The Top.

The public can vote on the toys until September 21 and the top three vote-getting toys will make up a single "Player's Choice" ballot to be counted alongside those turned in by the National Selection Committee. The inductees will be announced in November before becoming part of the National Toy Hall of Fame at the Strong Museum in Rochester, New York.
