The Binghamton Black Bears went on the road this weekend for three in a row at Carolina. Nikita Ivashkin scores the overtime winner on Sunday for a 5-4 win over the Thunder as the Bears take two out of three against Carolina.

Binghamton Black Bears Cam Yarwood Does It Again

On Saturday, it was just another ridiculous goal by Cam Yarwood. He does the spinarma and backhands one through the goalie's five-hole. Another shot that needs to be seen to be believed.

The Black Bears return home for three in a row this weekend against the Columbus River Dragons. There will be a lot going on at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena and we hope that you'll be there all three nights.

However, if you could only make it for one night, I would suggest coming to the Saturday, April 2nd game on Autism Awareness Night. It's also the return of the Heart Cup Game as Binghamton's First Responders will take to the ice for the American Heart Association.

The Binghamton Police Department and the Binghamton Fire Department will be face-off against each other beginning at 3:30 p.m. For every ticket sold the Black Bears will donate $5 to the American Heart Association. That ticket will also get you into the Black Bears game as well.

One year, I was the "bench coach" for the Fire Department and they lost...I wondered why I was never asked back. There are only six home games left in the regular season and you'll have three chances to see them this weekend.

I'll be doing Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd periods and hope to see you there.
