How Iced Coffee Can Help The Lives of People Needing Medical Care

I have been a Dunkin' fan for many years for many reasons but helping their community is right at the top of my list. Dunkin' not only keeps us running but they do a lot for our community too.

Wednesday, August 26 is "Iced Coffee Day" so Dunkin' wants to give back to the Southern Tier while you enjoy a cool beverage. $1 from every cup of iced coffee sold at participating Dunkin' restaurants in Binghamton will benefit the UHS Foundation. That's the charitable arm of the UHS Wilson Medical Center and UHS Binghamton General Hospital.

The UHS Foundation raises money for new equipment, patient care facilities, and community outreach programs that help UHS Wilson Medical Center and UHS Binghamton General Hospital.

It's pretty cool that so many people will go through a drive-thru on August 26, not even knowing that their coffee will be going toward this.Sometimes as people we don't feel like we can give straight donations to charitable organizations because we just have so many things to pay for.

However, if part of what we already pay for goes to benefit the community, then we can take pride in that we are helping without even realizing it.
