No injuries are reported after fire destroyed a Harpursville family’s home December 12.

The blaze on Lovejoy Road was reported at around 3:15 p.m. and drew firefighters from a half dozen companies who worked on the scene of the mobile home for several hours.

Some of the five members of the family were home at the time but able to escape the flames.

The fire appeared to have started in the center of the mobile home.

Firefighters from Harpursville were joined by Windsor, West Colesville, Port Crane, Sanford, Coventry and West Windsor at the scene.
