This past weekend was supposed to be a busy one for me. But you know how plans change.

My plans included tackling some projects around my travel trailer at camp, mowing the lawn which seems to be an every weekend task and doing the same when I got back home on Sunday afternoon.

Well, none of these things happened. Instead, I pretty much did nothing both days and even called it a day before 10 p.m. every evening. Am I getting old or is is just one of those weekends where you just don't want to do a thing?

To be honest, I did do a few things, like head into Wysox, Pennsylvania to dine in for breakfast for the second weekend in a row. It feels so good to be able to dine in again. And to be greeted by the server in a restaurant that's about 60 miles from home who knows exactly want you want for breakfast, since I pretty much order the same thing every time. I felt like Norm in the TV sitcom 'Cheers.' I imagine now that New York State has allowed dine in service at restaurants, many people also took advantage of getting back inside their favorite establishment.

One thing that I'm conflicted about when I'm visiting businesses in Pennsylvania, is whether to wear a face mask or not. Bradford County is in the green phase, and I noticed that some businesses require patrons to wear a face mask and some don't. The major grocery store in town where I usually shop, requires wearing face masks as does the major convenience store chain, but others don't, and neither do their employees. This past weekend even though most people were wearing face masks where required, some people ignored the rule. No one was being turned away though.

And how was your weekend? Did you visit your favorite restaurant for the dine in experience? It's good to be back.
