The drug raid occurred at a six-story building a few steps from the high school.

Flake was charged with one count of criminal possession of a weapon related to the loaded gun. He was charged with one count of criminal possession of a weapon due to a previous conviction.

Flake also was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Just over two years ago, a man who also was at the 99 Oak Street building was arrested for having a loaded .38 caliber revolver. He ultimately was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison after he was convicted of weapon and perjury charges.
