I don't know if it's just me or not but I can't seem to get into "March Madness", the NCAA Division 1 college men's basketball tournament. Maybe it's because Syracuse isn't in the tournament but I don't think that's the only reason.

There have been some exciting games and big upsets (Kentucky, Tennesee, and Baylor) but it doesn't feel the same. The same can't be said for the Binghamton Bulldogs as they conquer and advance.

On Saturday, March 19th, the Binghamton Bulldogs had a very impressive 111-85 home win over a very good Garden State Warriors team. The normal saying is "survive and advance" but when you win big in the quarterfinals, it's "conquer and advance."

Binghamton Bulldogs Advance To Northeast Regional Finals

The ABA Northeast Region began with 26 teams and after the quarterfinals last Saturday, it's down to four. The Bulldogs will take to the road on Saturday, March 26th, and take on the #1 seed Steel City Yellow Jackets in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Tip-off is at 7 p.m. for the Northeast Regional Finals and when they win (and they will), they would advance to the ABA National Tournament - Sweet 16 Round. They would play the winner of the (6)Herkimer Originals/ (2)Wyoming Valley Clutch game.

If the Herkimer Originals win, then the Bulldogs would get a home game at the Bulldogs Sports Complex because they are the higher seed on Saturday, April 2nd. Good luck and Let's Go Dawgs! We want a home game next weekend.
