The Whale Food A Bago for C.H.O.W. Starts Monday
991 the Whale along with our sister stations, will be set up in a RV Camper in the parking lot of Weis Food markets, Upper Front Street, Binghamton.
Radio personalities will be on location in the RV provided by our friends at Hillcrest RV, we are asking our listeners friends and neighbors to drop off non perishable food items for our local CHOW food pantry to help people in our area.
Once again our friends from Fidelis Care will be joining us on location.
Getting a food drive together with friends, family and co-workers is a great way to help. Your neighborhood can even donate. The need is great but our hearts in the Southern Tier are greater!
Anything you can do to help will be appreciated, we have had people drop off a couple cans of soup and say this is all we could afford to do, that's what its all about, there is no donation too small.
If you have struggled at one point in your life, you know what this means to families that are hurting, most of us have lived from dollar to dollar at some point in our lives, and giving always seems to lift our spirit and help others.
Please share this blog and spread the word to help our neighbors, we can't do it without you.
See you at Food-A-Bago!
