Today, we're excited to introduce you to Sonya Bement of Owego. Audra Marks nominated Sonya to become a member of our First Responders Wall of Fame writing to us,

Sonya has been an emt/paramedic since 1993. She is one of 2 full time paramedics in the Village of Owego. She continues to handle her emergency calls with professionalism, a cool head, and a deep compassion and respect for her patients. Sonya absolutely loves her career and balances her job while being a caregiver for her mother, a wonderful wife to her husband and the coolest mom ever to her 2 boys! She also is a trained and certified end-of-life doula, and with her sister has donated her free time ministering to the dying for the past 3 years.

Our community is a better place because you, Sonya, are in it and we salute you and genuinely thank you for being the incredible human that you are!
