Military, police officers, firefighters, paramedics are the unsung members of our community who put their own lives on the line to protect and serve us and we're on a mission to make sure that we properly thank them for their selflessness by sharing their stories with you.

Today, we're excited to introduce you to Lindsey Ames of Lisle. Alexis Comparetta nominated Lindsey to become a member of our First Responders Wall of Fame outlining her accomplishments to us:

Lindsey has been serving the Broome County area for over a decade as an EMS Provider. Recently leaving her long-time position as a Paramedic at Broome Ambulance, Lindsey has gone on to become an RN at UHS Wilson hospital where she continues to help others selflessly. Lindsey has been an amazing mentor to many people in EMS, and has impacted the lives of everyone she comes in contact with. Lindsey has never hesitated to help anyone- whether it be providing excellent patient care, mentoring new paramedics, or helping out in her community- Lindsey acts selflessly everyday. We cannot thank Lindsey enough for everything she has done for others.

Our community is a better place because you, Lindsey, are in it and we salute you and genuinely thank you for being the incredible human that you are!
