A Binghamton man faces felony drug charges after police confiscated fentanyl and thousands of dollars in cash in a raid.

Authorities say 32-year-old Christopher Fox was arrested Wednesday after investigators executed a search warrant at 60 Saratoga Avenue on the South Side.

Police say they found 24 grams of fentanyl, 12.7 ounces of marijuana and $7,400 in suspected drug sale proceeds in an apartment in Building 3 of the Saratoga Terrace complex. They also seized drug packaging materials.

Fox was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He also was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Fox was held overnight at Binghamton police headquarters downtown. He was arraigned in city court Thursday morning and ordered held at Broome County Jail.
