Here we are talking about yet another recall, but this one has nothing to do with food, it has to do with ink that tattoo artist use.

The US Food and Drug Administration has issued a nationwide recall for tattoo inks that may be contaminated with microorganisms according to WHDH.

If you receive a tattoo using this ink it can result in serious injuries. Here is a list of the following brands that the US Food and Drug Administration is advising tattoo artist not to use:

Scalpaink SC, Scalpaink PA, and Scalpaink AL basic black tattoo inks manufactured by Scalp Aesthetics (all lots)

Dynamic Color - Black tattoo ink manufactured by Dynamic Color Inc  (lots 12024090 and 12026090)

Solid Ink-Diablo (red) tattoo ink manufactured by Color Art Inc. (dba Solid Ink) (dba Antone's Ink) (lot 10.19.18)

If you receive a tattoo with contaminated ink it could cause an infection. According to the report, some infections can result in permanent scarring.

If you have received a tattoo recently you are urged to contact your tattoo artist to make sure the inks listed above were not used.
