[GALLERY] If All Expenses Paid – Where Would You Vacation This Winter?
I hope you had a great holiday season. Now, it's time for the not-so-fun part of winter. That is, if you are a Northeastern U.S. resident, like me, and not a fan of cold weather, snow, ice, or outdoor winter activities.
But I'm prepared as much as I can be for whatever Mother Nature throws at us this season. January through March can, and I'm guessing will be throwing us a typical northeast winter.
I've had my snow removal tools ready to go since winter decided to show up in force during December. For Christmas, I received new gloves and a hat that claim to keep me warm while I'm clearing snow from my driveway into my neighbor's lawn. Oops, I didn't really mean that...or did I?

But, there's always the opportunity to take a break from our winter doldrums with a getaway somewhere where the sun is shining, and the temperatures are in the 70s and 80s.
If you were given the opportunity, meaning you could go on vacation anywhere warm during the winter for a week, all expenses paid, where would you go? It could be anywhere on the planet. And there are many places I can think of to get away from winter for a week.
The choice to make would be tough for me, but I did come up with five picks for a mid-winter vacation, as long as someone else is picking up the tab. Bon Voyage!
