Toy Drive In Binghamton: Help Make A Child's Holiday Bright

A “Fill The Trolley” toy drive to benefit Broome County Toys for Tots will be held this Saturday, December 20th (2025) at Recreation Park on Binghamton's West Side from 5 to 7 p.m., according to City of Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham during the final holiday carousel ride event of the season.

According to the announcement, Mayor Kraham, along with representatives from Foam It Insulation, will be on site collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Broome County Toys for Tots program. All toys collected will be loaded onto a green trolley owned by Foam It Insulation and delivered to the Toys for Tots headquarters.

Last year, the community helped us collect hundreds of toys for local kids in need during our Fill the Trolley event at Recreation Park. This year, the green Foam It Insulation trolley will be at the park during the popular holiday carousel rides, giving residents a chance to give back while enjoying all the festivities this great City event has to offer. Donations will support the Broome County Toys for Tots program, which is run by members of local law enforcement and has helped provide holiday joy to local families for decades. - City of Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham

Broome County's Toys for Tots program serves local children aged 1 to 10. The program began in 1962, collecting new toys to help families in our communities in need provide gifts over the holidays for their children.

The organization is run by the Binghamton Police Department along with other local enforcement agencies. All toys and proceeds raised will help families living in Broome County.
