Get Ready For The Magical Festival Of Lights This Winter
'Tis the season. The leaves have almost all fallen from our trees, temperatures have dropped, and winter has already made an unexpected stop in the middle of the autumn season.
But the good news is that the holiday season is here, and there is so much happening throughout the Southern Tier of New York and beyond. Just before Thanksgiving, the holiday light festival switch is being turned on brightly!
The annual Broome County Festival of Lights is once again at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton, beginning November 17th and running through January 4th. The festival is a drive-thru winter wonderland featuring over 2 million lights with displays and festive scenes.
Santa will be at the Festival of Lights on several dates, and there will also be a fireworks show on November 28th at 7 p.m. For more information and tickets, visit the Broome County Festival of Lights website. Veterans receive free admission.

This is also a 1.7-mile drive-thru winding through the Bethel Woods grounds. In addition, Bethel Woods will also feature their Holiday Market from November 28th through the 30th, featuring over 75+ local artisans, plus food and beverage concessions. The Market and parking are free.
Several other holiday events are planned at Bethel Woods. For more information, visit the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts website.
