The New York Knicks will play the remainder of their games this season without Carmello Anthony. It was announced after the All-Star game, that Anthony would have season ending surgery to correct a knee issue. The good news is he'll be ready for preseason activities when the team gears up for the 2015-'16 season.

The Knicks have also traded guard, Pablo Prigioni to the Houston Rockets for Guard, Alexey Shved and 2 second round draft picks in 2017 and 2018.

I liked Prigioni, he forced turnovers on the D and could shoot the three ball too.

It appears that Phil Jackson is looking for a full scale stripping and rebuilding of this Knicks team. The rest of the season may be more painful then what we've already seen, but I agree with Jackson's strategy. This needed to be done 10 years ago.

The trade deadline is over, so this is our team from here out.

Go Knicks!
