Binghamton Restaurant Week is a great way to try different area restaurants for the great food and atmosphere they convey.
I vistited Little Venice restaurant last week, and this week it's Remlik's and South Side Yanni's.

Monday evening, I stopped by Remlik's on Lewis Street, Binghamton.
The first thing that caught my eye, was how well they transformed the interior of the old Kilmer Building.
The architecture is just amazing!

My guest and I were greeted by a smiling host, and quickly seated.
Our waiter, John, was very kind, well versed on the menu, Restaurant Week offerings, and came back several times to check on us.

I enjoyed the garden salad for an appetizer, followed by a delicious Papparadelle Bolognese, which consisted of braised beef, short rib, pork, roma tomatoes and ricotta cheese.
Desert tops off this 3 course meal, and I chose the cream puffs with a chocolate dipping sauce.

My guest enjoyed the Artichoke Bruschetta appetizer topped with marinated artichokes, romano and balsamic reduction, followed by the main course selection of Sesame Encrusted Ahi with jasmine rice, pickled slaw and ginger hoisin.

All in all, a very tasty and satisfying meal, great attention to detail, wonderful atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff at Remlik's!
