Doggies Are Welcome at These 15 Top New York Craft Breweries
With the craft beer industry going crazy all over Upstate New York, it is always fun to go and check them out when traveling around the state.
And it is even better when you can take your "best friend" along for the ride.
We have a dog, Harry, and we like to take him wherever we go. The dog travel bible (online) is bringfido.com. They are invaluable when looking for a bar, hotel, restaurant, or event place that will allow you to bring your dog along with you. We use bringfido.com all the time. And it is great.
With more and more people traveling with their pets today, and with more and more craft breweries popping up all over the state, we have used bringfido.com to find breweries that will let Harry come along for the fun.
Here are 15 of the best. Some are big, some not-so-big, but all are excellent New York State breweries and all welcome dogs. Generally speaking if a restaurant (or craft brewery) has a working kitchen, then New York State says the dogs have to stay in the outdoor common areas of the venue. Many of these places have great decks, patios, lawn spaces, and open areas where you can enjoy a sip, a sandwich, and a little R&R with your pup. Places that do not have working kitchens, but instead rely on food trucks for their food offering, are different. At these places it is generally up to the owner whether to allow your dogs to sit inside with you. Several on this list do this.
As you will see in the first brewery on this list, our dog Harry has fun at these places
