Dick's Sporting Goods Open Week is here.  The long-awaited PGA Tour Champions event takes place this week at En Joie Golf Course in Endicott and features many of the top golfers in the world competing.  Six members of the World Golf Hall of Fame are entered.  There are 55 PGA Tour winners with 296 career victories among the entrants resumes.

Six players who won the B.C. Open are playing this weekend in the Dick's Sporting Goods Open. They include Tom Kite, Jay Haas, Joey Sindelar (two-time champion), John Daly, Fred Funk and Jeff Sluman.  After hosting the B.C. Open for 34 years this is the eleventh Dick's Sporting Goods Open at En Joie.

Paul Goydos returns to defend his 2016 championship.  Top Charles Schwab Cup money winner this season Bernhard Langer returns to Endicott where he captured the 2014 Dick's Sporting Goods Open title.  Langer has earned $2,376,035 this season with four victories and ten Top-Ten finishes.

Tournament play is Friday morning through late Sunday afternoon.  The purse for this year's tournament is $2,000,000 with the winner's share set at $300,000.  Our sister radio station - WNBF will be providing scoring updates and reports throughout the tournament live on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
