Delaware Valley Residents Get Ready For Expanded Healthcare Access
UHS. It's a name you know well. It's been a part of our community for decades, and continues to grow. UHS Wilson recently expanded with a large addition to the existing building in Johnson City.
UHS has several primary care centers found in six counties, including Broome, Chenango, Delaware and Tioga, Otsego, and Sullivan. Hospitals include Wilson in Johnson City, Binghamton General, Chenango Memorial in Norwich (which is undergoing renovations), and Delaware Valley in Walton.

On the subject of Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton, a groundbreaking ceremony is set for Wednesday, October 22nd, at 2 p.m. at the hospital's location, 1 Titus Place.
This ceremony is to celebrate the start of construction on the new UHS DVH Medical Neighborhood. It's described as a transformative project aimed at expanding access to integrated, patient-centered care in the Delaware Valley region.
According to UHS officials, this new facility will expand access to integrated, patient-centered care in the region, bringing together primary care, specialty services, and wellness programs under one roof, fostering collaboration and improving outcomes for patients.
A bit about UHS Delaware Valley Hospital: the facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital that serves the Walton and Delaware Valley with emergency care and medical clinic services. A wide range of diagnostic and treatment services, as well as acute care, is offered to the community throughout the Delaware Valley.
