Creative Can Displays at Oakdale Mall [WATCH]

If you haven't had a chance to check out the creative can displays at the Oakdale Mall this week during the Food Banks 'Canstruction' contest, you still have a few more days.

This year I was asked to be one of these judges of the Binghamton competition which is in its third year and features 11 creative themed decorations from area businesses.

The judging is based on Best Meal, Best Use of Labels, Honorable Mention, Jurors’ Favorite and Structural Ingenuity.

I had a very difficult time picking winners in these categories, the displays will be up until Sunday morning, when they will be dismantled, with all the canned goods going to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier to be distributed to food pantries in our area.
