Broome County’s mobile COVID rapid testing unit will be moving again next week.

The retrofitted BC Transit bus will be at the First Presbyterian Church on Grant Avenue, Endicott from October 26 to 30 for testing by appointment only at gobroomecounty.com or by calling 211.

The testing site started on the West Side of Binghamton where the first coronavirus flareup began over two weeks ago.  It moved this week to Kirkwood and is currently set up for another day in Whitney Point.

Testing appointments are held from 1 to 7 p.m. at those locations.

Tioga County will be doing rapid testing this weekend at Tioga Opportunities.

The New York Health Department has announced Cortland County and the State University of New York are opening new sites starting October 24 for free community testing from noon to 4:30 p.m. October 24 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 24 and 25.

Testing will be done by appointment through the Cortland County Legislature/ Health Department sites.  The testing will be at the Cortland Junior/Senior High School, Homer Intermediate School, and the Marathon High School.
