A black bear cub is recovering after Cornell University veterinarians help repair its broken leg.

According to the university, the bear's leg was broken after getting hit by a car in the Adironacks.

Doctors from Cornell's Janet L. Swanson Wildlife Health Center stepped in to help the cub and repair the broken leg.

The cub is currently recovering with wildlife rehabilitation and will eventually be released back into the wild, the university explained.
