A lot of the talk at a coronavirus town hall meeting to be hosted by Congressman Anthony Brindisi March 26 is likely to be about the new 2-trillion dollar coronavirus aid package, what it means for individuals, local businesses and New York State.

The Telephone Town Hall is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and can be joined by calling 1-855-614-0159.

According to an email and facebook posting from the Democrat, residents can also sign in ahead of time to participate.

Residents need to go to http://brindisi.house.gov/live at least one hour before the scheduled start of the Town Hall. There are several fields to fill out in the sign-in including some contact information.

As with a previous telephone update this month, Brindisi is conducting his meeting while in quarantine after coming into contact with another House member who had tested positive for COVID-19.

The Utica Democrat says he will be joined by local health experts to help answer questions about keeping residents safe and what Congress has been doing.

Brindisi’s main office in Utica can be reached by calling (315) 732-0713.
