I know it's only the first week of November and we have 50 days until we get to Christmas. But we've been seeing Christmas decorations in stores since August. And now that Halloween is done, it's Christmas season in full swing at just about every store.

I usually put up my outside lights and Christmas decorations on Black Friday. There were a couple of years when the weather was too nice to ignore, so I got an early jump on it, but I still did not turn the lights on until Thanksgiving evening.

According to Popsugar, there is a psychoanalyst named Steve McKeown and he says people who decorate early for Christmas are happier than people who wait to put them up later in the season.

According to Popsugar, McKeown said that with all the stress and anxiety in the world right now, Christmas decorations help make people happy. He said that Christmas decorations remind people of strong happy feelings they had as kids during the holidays.

So by putting your Christmas decorations up early, that means you can enjoy those feelings for a longer period of time. I think it makes sense because whenever I think of Christmas I think of the magical feelings I had during the Christmas season.

Being raised in a Catholic household, it's a very important time of year in our religion as well. Still to this day, all the decorations, the lights, and the nativity scenes, always put a smile on my face and puts me in a great mood.

One of the things I love best about Christmas is the peacefulness I feel as we get closer to the holiday. I also love Christmas because I get to spend time with loved ones and I enjoy giving presents two family members and to the less fortunate.

So if you see someone with Christmas decorations up early this year it might just be that they needed a little happiness in their life at this time.
