Discover the Magic of a Dickens Christmas in Skaneateles
Visitors young and old will enjoy stepping back in time to witness the magic of Christmas come to life in the Village of Skaneateles which is located in the absolutely stunning Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York.
A Dickens Christmas in Skaneateles runs from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each weekend through up until Christmas as well as on December 24 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for a special shortened Christmas Eve celebration.
Visitors will be able to stroll the streets of picturesque Skaneateles while ducking into local shops and restaurants. Along the way, expect to run in to Charles Dickens and his cast of over 50 characters who will most definitely interact with you.
Each day at 2:00 p.m., visitors are invited to gather at the Skaneateles Gazebo to watch the full cast of Dickens Christmas characters sing and engage with people. Another favorite is the Snowman-building contest (as long as there's snow) in Clift Park on Saturday, December 18. Queen Victoria will even judge the entries!
