Eligible residents can go on a wait-list by registering at gobroomecounty.com/hd/coronavirus/vaccine.  There they will find a form they can fill out to be contacted when clinics are scheduled or appointments open up.  Health Department officials, however, say joining the wait list does not guarantee you an appointment.  New York State eligible resident will be given priority.  Eligibility requirements can also be found on the County website and those are frequently changing.  Just this week the state opened up vaccinations to residents age 50 and older.

Meanwhile Cortland, Tioga and Delaware Counties are announcing new vaccination clinics by appointment this week.  Cortland is giving shots from noon to 6 March 24 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 26 at the SUNY Cortland ice arena.

Tioga’s clinic is from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 24 at the Newark Valley Middle School and Delaware County is having a vaccination clinic March 25 at the former Decker Advertising/County Shopper site on Main Street in Delhi from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m..  Go to those counties’ health department websites and facebook pages for links to register.

If a particular clinic is filled up, check back to the county's site often for new clinics and appointments that may become available.
