Broome Sheriff Investigates Serious Crash in Lisle
Broome County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a rollover crash that had the driver trapped in their vehicle for a time September 15 in the Town of Lisle.
According to the Broome Fire Wire and Emergency Services, officials were called to Caldwell Hill Road shortly at around 7:09 p.m. with a report of a crash and the driver trapped.
Authorities had called for a medical evacuation helicopter to respond to the scene but that request was cancelled as rescuers extracted to the driver from the wreckage and were able to transport the victim via ambulance to an area hospital.

The name of the motorist has not been released.
The condition of the motorist is not known but officials indicated that the driver’s injuries could be considered “moderate.”
