CV19 Check Up was recently created by the New York State Office for Aging and BellAge Incorporated to assess individuals’ risk factors.  The resource is anonymous and free at newyork.cv19checkup.org.

The Office for Aging says the tool uses a series of questions about an individual’s health conditions, number of people they come in contact with and how regularly they wear a mask then factors in the rate of infection in a person’s particular area and other information about the disease.

After a participant gets their score, they also get information about how to reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19.

The OFA is encouraging people who don’t have internet access to ask a family member or friend for help in completing the assessment.
