Broome County Sheriff’s Officials Investigate Fatal Car/Motorcycle Crash

Broome County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a fatal crash involving a car and a motorcycle near Endwell August 4.

Authorities say the vehicles collided at around 5:10 p.m. on State Route 17 westbound near Exit 69.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Few details are available and authorities have not released the names of either driver involved in the crash.

Traffic in both directions was slowed for several hours, westbound as authorities conducted their investigation and eastbound as motorists in the opposite lane reduced speed to stare at the activity on the opposite side of the expressway.
