Boating and camping seasons open along with other amenities at Broome’s nine parks this weekend but COVID protocols will be in place.

The county actually started boat rentals at Dorchester Park early on May 14 but the rentals are now available daily from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Beaches are also open during those times daily.

Concessions are available at Cole and Greenwood Parks from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.  That service was shut down last year by the pandemic.

Camping is open at $25 a night and pavilions are available for rental: $35 for weekdays and $95 for weekends and holidays.

Dogs are welcome on a 6-foot leash at all parks and owners are required to clean up after their pets.

Parks are open from 8 a.m. to dusk through Labor Day.
