Binghamton Police Look to Add Officers
The City of Binghamton is looking to grow the ranks of its police force.
The Municipal Civil Service Commission says applications are being accepted for the September 15th Police Officer Exam for the Binghamton Police Department.
Applications must be filed with the Civil Service Commission by 4:45 p.m. July 13.
Applications are available from the Municipal Civil Service Commission on the fourth floor of Binghamton city Hall on Hawley Street and online at www.binghamton-ny.gov or joinbpd.com.
The application fee is $25 but a fee waiver can be obtained from the Civil Service Commission.

The City Police Department says it anticipates hiring new officers from the list established from the results of the September exam.
