23-year-old Saquawon Linton is charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing a man sleeping on a bench at around 1:30 a.m. June 24 and yelling: “Die! Die!”

Police say the victim sustained serious injuries to his face and neck.

Linton was offered a deal of ten years in prison but rejected that deal September 4.  He also has had issues with his attorney and is looking for new counsel.

Linton could go on trial by mid-November.
