
SUNY Broome & Binghamton University Graduation Ceremonies
Is it really that time of year again? Time goes by so quickly, except maybe for those students who swore that each semester lasted far longer than it really did.
May 2026 means graduation time for students at Binghamton University and SUNY Broome, as they move to that next exciting phase of life (or maybe continuing education).
SUNY Broome Community College Graduation Ceremony
According to a release from SUNY Broome, the 2026 graduation ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 21st, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton.
The day will begin with the Toast to the Tassel from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at the college. There will be a brunch-style picnic on the quad for the Class of 2026 graduates.
College officials note that there will be a self-guided photo tour at popular campus locations, encouraging graduates to wear regalia and to bring family and friends for the pre-ceremony celebration.
The commencement rehearsal will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena, followed by the graduation ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Binghamton University Graduation Ceremonies
Graduation ceremonies for Binghamton University graduates will all be held at the Events Center, except for the first two ceremonies on Thursday, May 14th. Those ceremonies will be held at the Anderson Center.
Binghamton University will confer more than 4,600 degrees for baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral candidates over three days - May 14, 15, and 16, 2026. Over 3,400 baccalaureate, 950 master’s students, andclose toy 250 doctoral candidates will be awarded.
According to Binghamton University, each commencement ceremony will last approximately 2 hours, with doors opening 45 minutes prior to the ceremony start time for all ceremonies.

Saturday, May 16
- 8:30 a.m. — Harpur College of Arts and Sciences 1, Events Center
