Broome County Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a suspect in connection with a stolen vehicle and larcenies from vehicles in the Town of Union.

The Sheriff’s office says authorities responded to complaints in the King Street and Bundy Avenue neighborhood at around 7 a.m. October 9 with an initial report of a car left in the middle of the road.  While headed to the scene, deputies were told the vehicle was just reported stolen from a home on Bundy Circle.

Officials say that vehicle had stopped on King Street at around 5:30 a.m. and a man walked away from it and was seen rummaging through another car parked on King Street before leaving on foot.

The suspect is described as white, wearing dark pants and a light colored hooded sweatshirt and was last seen in the area of King Street and North Willis Avenue.

Anyone with information about the incident or who may have been in the area of King Street and Bundy/ North Willis Avenue at around 6 a.m. Tuesday, October 9 is asked to contact the Sheriff’s tip line at (607) 778-1196 or the Detective’s Division at (607) 778-2053.
