Earlier this month, the Cyber Cafe West on Main Street in Binghamton announced it was closing. Last week, The Pub at North and Main in Endwell announced they were closing. And today we heard the news that a State Street bar is closing.

J.T.'s Tavern, 98 State Street in Binghamton, announced on their Facebook page yesterday that this coming Saturday, June 29th. will be their last night of operation.

According to the Facebook post, it says their landlords will not renew their lease which is forcing them to close “at this location”. The post also said “we would love to have many more years to make more memories with you all, but sadly, it's just not the case.

The bar has been at its current location for 25 years and is a popular spot with the college kids late at night and especially on weekends.

Pressconnects is reporting that the building is owned by Lil P Properties who purchased the building for $475,000 in 2015.
