Buffalo wings, chicken wings, barbeque wings, whatever you call them, I am a huge fan as well as so many people are. Sitting down with a dozen wings, hanging out with friends and family at a bar, or enjoying them at home watching a sporting event or backyard barbeque, it's just the perfect food.

Are chicken wings good for you? Well, I'm not even going to get into that subject. Probably most food I eat is not healthy for me, so we'll leave it at that. I'm always on the lookout for places that prepare great chicken wings or have a different take on the texture and taste that might stand out from others.

With air fryers now a popular item, I've noticed some people cooking their wings with great results. I recently purchased an air fryer and need to give it a try. It will be all me since my wife for some reason has an issue with the air fryer I bought. I'm trying to show that it's not just another kitchen item that will end up in the appliance graveyard.

My favorite type of chicken wings includes Honey Barbeque, Garlic, and Parmesan Garlic. And I prefer them fried over baked or grilled. And they've got to have a good chunk of meat on the bone. I have ended up with wings that look like the meat was picked off the bone, and that's not a good thing. What's the point, right?

Everyone has their favorite places for chicken/buffalo wings, so I won't even attempt to say who makes the best, but I thought I'd take a look at the Yelp! website to see what the top ten places are with the most positive reviews. Of course, you know reviews can sometimes be suspect, but those that I've seen on the list look good.

I'm assuming that all of these places are open for business. Take a look at these local establishments that cook up wings and let me know what place you think should be on the best area wings list.
