Due to the Coronavirus, a lot of bands and venues had to reinvent live events for the time being. One way they are doing this is by doing Drive-In concerts.

The Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre is going to hold A Drive-in Theater concert with the Queen tribute band Almost Queen on Friday July 17th. Here's how it will work.

Just like drive-in movies, cars will be parked throughout the parking lot so they can see the stage and they will be able to hear the band by using a channel on their radio. The cost for the show is $99.50 per vehicle with maximum occupancy of four people in each vehicle.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com or the Ticketmaster app. There will be Gold Circle parking and Silver Circle parking available for an additional fee. They will make sure that the vehicles are spaced far enough apart to comply with social distancing restrictions and to deliver the best visibility of the stage.

They're also limiting vehicles in the parking lot to  passenger vehicles only, meaning no limousines, RVs, buses, or motorcycles. All people in attendance will have to remain in their vehicles as well.

To win tickets, just be listening to Freezone in the Morning on 99 1 The Whale Monday June 29th through Thursday July 2nd for the “Queen Music Montage" to play.
