It was great to have some sort of a concert scene return this past spring through fall. The 2020 concert season was thrown into the wind because of the pandemic, and we were ready to get back out to see some great live shows this year.

Hopefully, 2022 will be even better with new shows to enjoy from our favorite rock bands and beyond. At this time of the year, we're not normally thinking about the concert scene of the upcoming year, but even though we're barely into the month of December, some venues are already planning their 2022 schedule.

Of course, places like Touch of Texas in Binghamton don't have a season. They book great shows all year long, and that's a great thing for our area. Slaughter is scheduled to appear on April 2nd.

And to our pleasant surprise, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York has begun to announce some shows. Just last week, we announced that Chicago along with Brian Wilson, Al Jardin, and Blondie Chaplin will be appearing at Bethel on July 14th, and we gave away tickets before they went on sale.

I hope we hear about more rock shows coming in 2022 soon. It's a hope that we can get back to a normal year of live rock-n-roll.
