Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. It's a day set aside to give thanks for all the blessings in our lives. And I have many things to be thankful for.

I will start with my wife Chris. I don't know where I would be without her. She is my best friend and she is always there through thick and thin. We've been through a lot together including both of us going through cancer. I'm thankful that we are both in remission many years later.

I am also thankful for my step-son Ian. He was 5 years old when I met him and he has grown into a very level-headed, smart, caring young man. I am thankful for my family. We have always been close and there is nothing we wouldn't do for each other.

I am thankful for all my friends. I have many friends that are always there when they are needed or just to hang out and have a good time with.

I'm thankful for the roof over my head and for the food that I eat. I am thankful for the fact that the Eagles finally won a Superbowl. I was beginning to think that it wasn't going to happen in my lifetime.

I am thankful for my job here at the Whale. Not many people can say they listen to rock music and read funny stories for a living. And I am very thankful for you, the Whale listener. First of all, if it wasn't for you reading my blog, I would be writing them for nothing. And if it wasn't for you listening every morning, I would just be talking to myself.

I am truly thankful for the men and women that are serving or have served our country to keep us safe and free.

There are a lot of things I wish I had in life, but I truly have everything I need to be happy. I hope you have many things to be thankful for as well.

Happy Thanksgiving!
