I look forward to Thanksgiving Day all year long. Like I said yesterday, I like spending time with my family, but I also love the food. It truly is my favorite meal and I look forward to it all year. I love turkey. I like both white and dark meat, but I like dark meat more. Back when my mother was alive, she would make the best homemade stuffing I ever had in my life. I'm not the only one who feels that way. I used to bring it to the radio station I work at back then. I would bring it in the next day and a lot of the jocks agreed that Mrs. Free's stuffing was the best ever. I love the mashed potatoes. In fact, I usually make the mashed potatoes for our Thanksgiving Day feast. We always have corn, broccoli, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes (which I can't stand), and probably four different kinds of desserts. Plus my wife added a new feature to our Thanksgiving dinner since she and I have been married, she has been bringing homemade halupki, otherwise known as pigs in the blanket, to the dinner. We also have cranberry sauce, pickles, and olives too.

Every year, after we are done stuffing ourselves, we clean up and play either card games or board games or both. Of course, we're drinking that whole time as well. Then about 6 hours after we get done eating, we get the turkey out again to make turkey sandwiches. It truly is my favorite meal of the year and one of my favorite days of the year. The food is great and the company is even better.
