[Video] Spring Training Buzz: Binghamton Rumble Ponies Prep For Season Kickoff

These spring-like days are not fair! No, I'm not complaining. It's just that the current rash of warmer-than-normal temperatures for the middle of March, makes me crave that much more for baseball season to begin.

At least spring training is, well, pardon the pun - in full swing. April 5th is the day the New York Mets Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies return home to kick off another exciting baseball season at Mirabito Stadium in Downtown Binghamton.

The three-game home stand will have the Binghamton Rumble Ponies hosting the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, on April 5th, 6th, and 7th at Mirabito Statium. April 5th will be the first of many fireworks nights at the stadium. Check out the Rumble Ponies schedule for complete dates and promotions here.

Binghamton Rumble Pony and New York Mets players are busily practicing at the Port. St. Lucie training facility, getting ready for the 2024 baseball season.

On March 15th, the Spring Breakout Game featured a game between the Mets and Washington Nationals' top prospects from Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, Florida with right-hand pitcher Dom Hamel as the starter.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies play-by-play announcers Jacob Wilkins and Matt Levine traveled to Florida to take in spring training with the Mets organization interviewing several Rumble Ponies, NY Mets players and prospects.
