I Could Complain, But I Won’t

I could complain about a lot of things happening both around us and personally, but I'm normally someone who would rather keep my complaints to myself. Do you believe me?

So, in this article, I won't complain about the fact that gasoline prices are continuing to rise. I understand some of it has to do with the issues the state of Texas went through last week with cold, freezing rain and snow, causing millions to lost heat and electric. Apparently 11 of the refineries in Texas had to shut down at least partically, making it one of the reasons gas prices are rising fast, but I'm not gonna complain about it.

And I'm not going to complain about the really crappy winter weather we've been experiencing this year after a few mild winter weather years. As I look out my window and see heavy snow coming down like today, and almost on a daily basis, it's okay. I'm not gonna complain that I have to shovel more snow out of the driveway, sidewalks and front steps all over again, even though I just did that yesterday.

And am I going to compalin about the rude person who started screaming at me last weekend when a store employee mistakenly though I was next in line, and came up to me first rather than him? Nah. But, how was that my fault? I stepped aside as I should, knowing this person was waiting before I arrrived. But somehow I'm getting yelled at.

Never-the-less, I'm not going to complain about how rude some people can be, and mistakenly take it out on the wrong person. By the way, I did yell back and put this person in his place. I must be getting crankier and letting the little things get to me as I get older, but that's okay. I'm not going to complain about it.

Thanks for letting me pretend not to vent. By the way, get off my lawn. Not that I'm complaining you understand.
