The legendary Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band will be playing at Bethel Woods during The Woodstock 50th Anniversary weekend on Friday, August 16th.

Also performing that night will be the Edgar Winter Band (Yes it's now called the Edgar Winter Band, not Group) and Arlo Guthrie. Both Edgar Winter and Arlo Guthrie played the original Woodstock back in 1969.

The Woodstock 50th. Anniversary Celebration at Bethel Woods will begin on Thursday, August 15th with the screening of 'Woodstock: The Director's Cut'. The screening itself will take place on the historic Festival Field on a huge screen at the exact location of the original stage where it was filmed 50 years ago.

Then, Friday night, Ringo, The Edgar Winter Band, and Arlo Guthrie will perform. That Saturday night, August 17th, Santana will perform 50 years and one day after he performed at the original Festival in Bethel New York.

We will be giving away tickets starting tomorrow (Tuesday) using The Whale Mobile App. Right around 8 a.m., you will receive an alert through The Whale App telling you the Ringo Starr song of the day.

Then sometime between 8:15 and 8:30 during Freezone in the Morning, Jim Free will tell you to call in and correctly identify the Ringo Starr song of the day.
