We love our veterans and whenever we have a chance to honor them, we should take advantage of that opportunity. So when Wreaths Across America (WAA) and their Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE) comes close to us, we should take the time to visit it.

Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery that was started by Morrill Worcester in 1992.

The idea behind the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit is to bring the community together, teach patriotism and remember the service and sacrifice of our nation's heroes.

The way they go about accomplishing this is by getting the veterans, active-duty military members, and their families together. The exhibit is a mobile museum that will educate its visitors about their nation's heroes and be the official "welcome home" station for our nation's Vietnam Veterans.

When the MEE comes into the area, all veterans, active-duty military, their families, and local community members are invited to visit, take a tour and chat with someone from the WAA.

The public tours are free and open to the public. If you're interested in having the MEE come to your area including for a parade, school-related, or veterans group, go here to make a request.
