Where Did Summer Go? – Don Morgan Rants

My middle name is Summer. Alright, not really, but it should be!

Reason being, it's the one season I truly enjoy, and it's quickly slipping away. Yea, much can be said about late spring and early fall, but temperatures and weather fluctuate too much during those times of the year for my taste.

Of course, the easy answer to my dilemma would be to move to an area of the country that has warm weather all year long like the South or Southwest. Good advice I say, for if or when I retire. As long as I am allowed to continue to work in the exciting world of the media, I plan to stay put, and deal with our lovely winters.

In the meantime, I will hold onto summer until the autumn equinox arrives at 8:20am on September 23rd. I already have the spring equinox circled on my calendar. March 20th 2016 at 4:30am if you are wondering. Let the countdown begin.
