What You Need To Know Ahead Of The Rumble Ponies Home Opener

It's been a year and a half since the Binghamton Rumble Ponies played at Rumbletown. The Binghamton Rumble Ponies begin their home schedule tonight, May 11th against the Altoona Curve with the first pitch at 6:35 p.m.

Here's what you need to know before heading out to NYSEG Stadium:

• There will be rapid COVID-19 testing done at the ballpark. A negative COVID test either at the ball park or proof shown of a negative test up to 72 hours prior must be shown. Proof of being fully vaccinated will also get you in as well.
• Temperature tests will be taken at the ballpark. Those with a 100.4 temperature will be denied entry.
• Everyone must where a face mask at all times, except when eating or drinking.

Free Vaccination Clinic With Binghamton Rumble Ponies

If you've been thinking about getting vaccinated, go to tonight's game early and you'll get a free ticket to a future home game of your choosing. The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are getting together with the Broome County Health Department and the City of Binghamton to get a COVID-19 vaccination.

All you need to do is go to the Rumbletown Gate (Gate 1) to get a vaccination. They will start two hours before the game starts (4:35 p.m. tonight) and go up until the first pitch. You don't need to have a ticket to get vaccinated.

The free Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine clinic is for eligible members 18 years of age and older, and no appointment is needed. Everyone that gets vaccinated at their clinic will get a free ticket for a future home game.

Can't make it to tonight's game? No problem, they are providing free vaccinations through this Sunday, May 16th. Rumbletown will open under New York State guidelines and you can go here to what that means exactly.
