What to Do 4th of July Weekend
This weekend is a four day weekend for some people. Others, will have to work Monday and have Tuesday off as we celebrate our nations independence. There are a lot of ways to spend your weekend. If you are looking for things to do, check out the list I put together.
Sahlen’s 6 Hours at the Glen
Watkins Glen will host the Sahlen’s 6 hours at the Glen starting Friday and running through Sunday. You can watch some awesome racing all weekend long.
Rumble Ponies Baseball
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies will host the Harrisburg Senators for 4 games this weekend starting Friday. Friday night’s game starts at 7:05 with fireworks to follow. Saturday’s game is at 7:05. Sunday’s game time is 1:05. Darryl Strawberry will be holding a meet and greet from 11:30 till 1. Monday night’s game is at 6:35 with fireworks after the game.
Movies in the Park
Friday night June 30th at Otsiningo Park will feature the movie “Minions”. This is a free event and its weather permitting. The movie will start at 8:30
38 Special Concert
38 Special will be playing at Tioga Downs Saturday night. This is a benefit show with all proceeds going to benefit The Southern Tier Veteran’s Support Group. Tickets are 15 dollars and are available at the Tioga Downs Gift Shop and Ticketmaster. There will be a fireworks display after the show.
Highland Park 4th of July Extravaganza
On Tuesday the 4th, it’s the annual celebration at Highland Park in Endwell. There will be food, games, bouncy houses for the kids, vendors, entertainment and the huge fireworks display at 9pm. .Admission is free.
Montrose 4th of July Celebration
Montrose will hold their annual 4th of July Celebration with a 5K and 10 K Runs, Parade, Food and Drink, and the Fireworks display at dusk. Admission is free.
