Entertaining the kids can get pretty expensive. You can take them to Chuck E. Cheese’s and drop a good amount of money depending on how many games they want to play. You can take them to an amusement park and drop a couple of hundred in the blink of an eye. Or, you can look for free thing to do like take them to the park.

We have some beautiful parks in this area. Saturday, May 27th kicks off the summer season for Broome County Parks. All parks will be open from 8am. till dusk daily through Labor Day. Admission is free to the parks in Broome County. Swimming, picnicking and hiking are free at Cole, Dorchester and Greenwood Parks. You can rent boats as well and you can camp overnight at Greenwood.
