Authorities say a motorcyclist was killed when a vehicle crossed over into his lane and struck his bike head-on in the town of Conklin.

The crash happened shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday on Conklin Road.

According to New York State Police, 21-year-old Tristan Thor of Vestal was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the vehicle that struck the motorcycle was driven by 44-year-old Seth Delvillano of Binghamton.

Based on the initial investigation, police believe the vehicle was traveling north on Conklin Road when it went into the southbound lane and slammed into the motorcycle.

A state police news release did not described the vehicle operated by Delvillano. It also did not indicate whether investigators expect charges will be filed in connection with the crash.
